David Beckham

Miami, FL – February 4, 2014 – The stars came out on Tuesday night as world renowned soccer superstar David Beckham hosted an extravagant VIP party at the Adrienne Arsht Center in light of his recent announcement. It was the beginning of what was sure to be a busy few days for Beckham, as he started his campaign to finally bring a soccer team to Miami. Guests of the event included University of Miami President Donna Shalala, former Miami Heat star Alonzo Mourning and local politicians for the private reception.  After Tuesday night’s invitation-only reception at the Arsht Center, the official announcement was made the following morning, at the Pérez Art Museum Miami.
